PB Tourney ("PB Tourney," "we," "us") is a community app for organizing pickleball sessions and tournaments, operated by Michael Krilivsky (Miami, Florida). By creating an account, claiming a spot in a session, or otherwise using the app at mikek.ai/pbt (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or at least 13 with a parent or guardian's permission, to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login (phone number or Google account) secure and for everything done under your account.
Your verified phone number is your unique player identity. Your display name is the name shown on rosters, game records and leaderboards. You agree to use your real name (or a name the group knows you by), not to impersonate anyone, and to keep one account per person. We may merge, rename or remove accounts and roster entries to keep records accurate.
By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS opt-in box, you expressly consent to receive text messages from PB Tourney at that number, including automated messages, about sessions you sign up for and the group's pickleball activities: sign-up confirmations, waitlist promotions, spot-open alerts, schedule changes, reminders, results, and organizer announcements.
We use third-party providers (for example Twilio for SMS and EmailJS for email) to deliver messages. Your number and name are shared with them solely to send you these messages. See the Privacy Policy.
If you give us an email address, we may email you about your sessions (confirmations, waitlist and spot-open alerts, results) and occasional community updates. Every marketing-style email includes a way to unsubscribe; transactional messages about sessions you joined may continue while you hold a spot.
PB Tourney exists to make it easy to play together. You agree to: show up for spots you claim or release them promptly; treat other players, organizers and hosts with respect; follow the rules of each venue (including private residences and clubs); and not use the Service to harass, spam, scrape contact information, or promote unrelated businesses. Organizers may remove players from a session and we may suspend accounts that break these rules.
PB Tourney is a scheduling and scoring tool. We do not run, supervise, insure or inspect any session, court or venue, and organizers and hosts are independent participants, not our employees or agents. Pickleball is a physical activity that involves risk of injury. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk, you are responsible for your own health, fitness, equipment and conduct, and you release PB Tourney and its operator from claims arising from participation, travel to or from sessions, or the condition of any venue, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You may upload a profile photo and photos from games and tournaments. You must own the rights to what you upload and have permission from people who appear in it. Do not upload anything unlawful, explicit, hateful, or that violates someone's privacy. You keep ownership of your content and grant PB Tourney a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and share it within the Service (for example on rosters, tournament pages, results and profiles). We may remove content at our discretion. Photos taken at sessions may include you; if you'd like a photo of you removed, contact us and we'll take it down.
Scores, wins, point differentials, and rankings are entered by players and organizers and are shown to other users. They are for fun and community play and are not official ratings. We may correct, merge or reset records to fix errors.
If you turn on travel/away status, the dates and city you enter are visible to other PB Tourney users so they can find players to meet up with. Share only what you're comfortable sharing; you can turn it off at any time in your profile.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," free of charge, and may change, break, or go offline at any time. We may add, change or remove features and may end the Service or your access to it at any time. You may delete your account by contacting us.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PB Tourney and its operator disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, injury, or losses arising from use of the Service, participation in sessions, or reliance on schedules, results or messages. If any liability is found, it is limited to $50 (USD). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. We may update these Terms; if the changes are material we'll ask you to accept them again in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
